Privacy Policy

AlphaQuest Research (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a SEBI-Registered Research Analyst. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting personal information you share with us, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and SEBI's circulars for Research Analysts.

1. Information we collect

• Identity & KYC: name, PAN, date of birth, address, email, mobile number, photograph and signature.
• Risk profile: investment experience, income range, risk appetite — collected before any paid service.
• Transactional: subscription plan, invoice, payment reference (we never store full card numbers).
• Technical: IP address, browser, device, cookies and analytics events.

2. Purpose of processing

• To deliver subscribed research, levels and morning reports.
• To meet SEBI record-keeping and audit obligations (minimum five years).
• To verify identity, prevent fraud and comply with PMLA / KYC norms.
• To send service updates, invoices and consent receipts.

3. Lawful basis & consent

We rely on your explicit consent (eSign at onboarding and at every renewal) and on legitimate regulatory obligations. You can withdraw consent for marketing at any time without affecting service delivery.

4. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your data. We share strictly the minimum required with: payment gateways (Razorpay), eSign providers (NSDL/Protean), email/SMS infrastructure, our auditors, and statutory authorities (SEBI, Income-Tax, FIU-IND, courts) when legally compelled.

5. Cookies

We use first-party cookies for authentication and consented analytics (Firebase). You can manage cookies via the consent banner or your browser settings. Refusing analytics does not disable the service.

6. Retention

KYC, consent and transactional records are retained for at least five years after the last interaction, as mandated by SEBI. Marketing data is purged within 24 months of the last opt-in signal.

7. Your rights

• Access, correction and erasure (subject to regulatory retention).
• Portability of your account profile.
• Grievance redressal — write to grievance@alphaquestresearch.com; we acknowledge within 2 business days.

8. Security

Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.2+. PII at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Access is role-based and logged. Suspected breaches are reported to CERT-In within 6 hours, in accordance with the CERT-In 2022 directions.

9. Updates

Material changes will be announced on this page and emailed to active subscribers at least 15 days before they take effect.
